We offer affordable and flexible guided motorcycle tours for the experienced and less experienced rider. Our routes have been carefully selected over many years and cover many of the best motorcycling regions of Europe. We stop at destinations that have either historical and/or cultural significance, or are areas of outstanding natural beauty or just a place where you can have loads of fun (or all three). From within these areas we have then selected high quality, affordable accommodation that offers hospitality and security for your beloved motorcycle.
All tour prices are inclusive of accommodation and ferry/tunnel fares. We advertise a basic flat rate cost of each full tour here on our website but these can be changed up or down according to your requirements. We offer:
Differing types of accommodation.
To keep prices down and offer the authentic motorcycle tour experience, our basic tours are camping based, but we offer Apartment or Hotel accommodation as an alternative as all our campsites offer a range of facilities. Choosing such accommodation will of course increase the price of the overall tour, usually £10-£15 a night per person.
Camping Kits from £35 a week.
These include all that you need for an enjoyable and trouble free trip. Included are Kyham Biker Quick Erect 3 Person Tents, strong tent pegs designed for harder ground, self inflating Air Beds, straps and bags to aid in the packing onto the bike.
Flexible Ferry options.
For our Spain and Portugal tours you can choose to take a ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg (fast crossing) or to Bilbao. The later increases the cost of the tour but cuts about 1 000 miles from the trip, however it has been our experience that travelling south from Cherbourg is both cheaper per mile and potentially quicker.
Flexible Tours.
If you want to join us for a full tour or for just a couple of days you are welcome. If you want to join us in Salamanca and leave us on the Algarve, then that is fine, we just need to know so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
GPS Hire.
We have a number of Sat Nav units with all fittings available for hire. Please enquire about suitability and availability.
Advice on Breakdown and Recovery services and Back up and Support for you and your motorcycle.
Pre Departure. All Riders will receive tour packs pre departure outlining what you need to take (i.e. Passport, Registration Document, Insurance Certificate and details, Driving License, the ‘new’ E111 card, etc., etc.) and what you should take, as well as Maps outlining the Tour route, a Guide Book, etc.
Selected Areas and Towns/Cities we visit
East Iberian Tour
San Sebastian (where Cherbourg and Bilbao parties meet), through the Pyrenees to Sort and Andorra, Barcelona, Empuries, Albarracin, San Jose in the Cabo de Gata (with rest days), the Sierra Nevada, Nerja (day rest with optional trip to Gibraltar), Granada, Toledo, Segovia and home.
West Iberian Tour
San Sebastian (where Cherbourg and Bilbao parties meet), through the Picos de Europa to Riano, Cuidad Rodrigo, Salamanca, Evora, Lisbon, Odeceixe, Salema and Sagres on the Algarve in the Cape St Vincent National Park (days of rest - here we are within 15 minutes of Lagos), Merida, Picos de Europa and home.
Rivers Tour
Trier and the Mosel Valley, Cochum, Koblenz, the Rhine Gorge, Marburg, the Eder and its famous Dam, the Lahn and back down the Mosel to home.
Alp Tour
Dijon, Chamonix, Mount Blanc, Northern Italian Alps, Swiss Alpine Passes such as the Fluella and Furka Passes (the roads around here were featured on Top Gear in their search for the 'best road in the world'), Grossglockner, Berchtesgaden and the Konigsee, Garmish Partenkirchen, the Black Forest and then home (there are two Alp Tours the shorter one misses out the Grossglockner and Berchtesgaden).
